Crafts flying airplane from colored paper aeromodelling. How to make a paper airplane (12 best patterns). "Fighter" made of paper

Today we will tell you how to make a dream plane, of course it will be made of paper, but it will fly far and for a long time. Folding an airplane out of A4 paper and organizing racing competitions is a great idea. Are you ready to prepare thoroughly for this event? Let's find out how to make a paper airplane that will be better than other products.

Step-by-step instructions with photos

Children love folding paper airplanes. Both adults and children know the simplest manufacturing option.

Do you want to make a lot of beautiful and sharp-nosed airplanes? Easily! We will look at the most interesting options below. But now let’s remember and tell the children how to make a paper airplane according to the old pattern.

  • take a sheet of A4 format, place it vertically and visually mark the middle line;
  • we bend the upper right and left corners to the intended line so that they are placed parallel and their joint does not obscure each other;
  • In the resulting figure, we once again bend the right and left sides towards the middle;
  • fold the workpiece in half, the fold should be in the shape of a “slide”;
  • folding the wings of the airplane.

We have made a plane, but it is not ready to fly yet. Arm yourself with felt-tip pens or a marker, make the desired color and finish drawing the portholes.

Now you can send the airliner into flight.

Airplane with a flight range of 100 meters

After simple airplane models, your child will ask how to make a paper airplane so that the flight duration and range are longer. Let's try to design a model with not just a long flight, but a direct and beautiful one. If everything is done correctly, the finished aircraft will fly at a distance of up to one hundred meters. Let us immediately clarify that this work involves the use of elements of the origami technique.

To make it you only need one rectangular sheet. Let's get started:

  • Take the prepared sheet. The color can be any, it is not necessary to use white. You can use office paper with a blue or green tint.
  • Place the sheet horizontally and fold it in half. Uncover the workpiece and turn it upright.
  • Fold the top edges to the intended vertical line. As a result of folding, you should get a triangle.
  • We turn the ends of the triangle outward. They should touch their noses to the intended line. We repeat this action again.
  • We unfold all the parts that we have folded. Next, we bend the paper on one and the other side along the marked lines towards the central strip.
  • Where the lines intersect, fold the sheet forward. Carefully press the new fold line with your fingers. Open up all the folded pieces again and return the sheet to its original state.
  • Bend the sheet, focusing on the first line, which is located at the top. We bend the resulting workpiece to a line located in the horizontal center. We place the corner so that it is located exactly on the line.
  • We turn our workpiece over and bend it along the horizontal mark. We turn the workpiece over again and make sure that the resulting triangular part faces the “nose” up.
  • We bend the parts located at the top towards the folded line in the center. By doing this action, you will notice that the workpiece will begin to assemble on its own. You need to carefully smooth the paper, do it carefully.
  • Fold all the parts in half. We bend the wings. When the wings are bent, make small bends; their size should be from one to one and a half centimeters.
  • We open the blank and get an airplane. Align the craft.

The plane is ready to fly, don't fly too far! Now you know how to make a simple airplane from A4 paper. The step-by-step steps may seem long, but all the work will take a little time. Once you get the hang of it, you can make several planes in five minutes.

Your little fidget doesn't like to wait? Read the instructions that will show you how to quickly make a paper airplane using the origami technique. Even if you are new to this business, the work will take five minutes of free time.

Airplane in 5 minutes

This type of craft is even suitable as a souvenir. Delight your colleague or dad by folding an airplane out of a banknote using this pattern.

As for the quality of the craft, this plane flies further than the previous design; parents, get ready to search for the plane after launch!

The most important thing in this plane is to achieve two identical (mirrored sides). If your sides are even, then the flight will definitely be perfect.

So let's get started:

  • take a rectangular sheet (can be any color), fold it in half;
  • open the workpiece, and, as in the previous version, draw the upper corners to the center line;
  • bend the upper spout to the bottom of the triangle, fold the side parts of the top;
  • bend the side parts to the center line, you should get an isosceles triangle;
  • fold it in half and measure 10 centimeters from the spout;
  • at the point where ten centimeters were measured, we make a fold, carefully iron all the lines;
  • we divide the spout into two parts and turn each side inside out;
  • At the end, on the plane we straighten the triangle in different directions, we get wings, their ends need to be bent upward.

It turned out to be an excellent plane. Please note that no special skills are required to make such a craft; with a few dexterous actions, this elementary plane is ready. We will look at complex designs below.

A plane that can fly far

Ready for more advanced models? In fact, today there is a huge selection of paper airplanes. If we talk about the leading paper crafts, then these are Falcon, Albatross, Eagle Owl or Hawk. We propose to learn how to make a powerful paper airplane, which bears the proud name “Thunderstorm”.

As with other manufacturing options, you need A4 paper. Let's do step-by-step production:

  • We bend the paper so that the sides are symmetrical. Carefully smooth out the resulting line and return the workpiece to its original position.
  • Make a triangle at the top in the same way as was done in the examples above. Each top edge should touch a horizontal line.
  • Fold the sheet again, you should get a triangle with a sharp top. At the fold we connect the sheet.
  • We unfold the workpiece. Turn the sheet over and bend it on the other side. We bend the sides from the sides to the center point. Fold the triangle again.
  • Turn the craft over and bend it again. We bend the finished structure, which should already resemble an airplane, in half. We bend the top of the wings outward. They can be bent to resemble the wings of a real airplane.

That's all, you have learned how to make your own paper airplane. Why is it worth doing this particular craft? You will be pleasantly surprised, the flight of this simple flying aircraft is up to 1000 meters, and if it is launched on the street, the distance can become even greater.

You will say that a paper glider is a craft that will take a lot of time and require knowledge? No, we answer. Its construction will take a maximum of five minutes, and it requires effort for folding and bending. Let's do some crafts and head out into the fresh air!

And, as usual, for work we prepare paper in A4 format, but we add scissors or a knife for office work, as well as plasticine. Make sure that these tools are not handled by small children. When making such crafts with the participation of a child, it is better to take special scissors, the sharp edges of which are protected.

Let's start making:

The glider is ready! Test time. To check how well the glider flies, place the structure vertically down and release it. A correctly made model will fly up. If you notice that the glider is leaning to one side, do not be discouraged. Our model can be adjusted by lowering and raising the adjusters.

Gift plane

Let's continue designing airplanes. The next model will require a little more materials and time, but you will get an attractive toy. And if you try and decorate the finished product, you can get a wonderful gift that will delight your grandfather or father

Let's prepare the materials:

  • 2 sheets of thick paper (it is better to use cardboard of any color);
  • stationery glue stick;
  • a simple pencil;
  • match packaging.

We carry out the work in stages:

The craft is ready. Of course, such a design will not fly, but it is quite suitable as a toy or as a gift.

Making a paper airplane is one of the brightest childhood memories. Every child will definitely enjoy building it themselves and launching it high into the air.

This activity will instill in children a craving for creativity. When folding paper airplanes, the smallest designers will develop fine motor skills of their fingers, learn to concentrate their attention, and use their imagination.

There are a large number of schemes for creating airplanes from paper - from simple 4-6 steps to more complex models. The paper with which airplanes are folded can be of different densities and structures. Some models fly only in a straight line, others can make turns.

Long-flying airplanes will certainly arouse the interest of any child. If parents have forgotten their childhood skills, then there is an opportunity to learn how to fold paper airplanes with their child. This is a very interesting and useful activity that will become a vivid memory for a lifetime.

The classic way to create a paper airplane

Any beginner can handle this airplane folding scheme. To make it, you can use the most ordinary newspaper. To make more complex structures, the first step is to learn the basics of the usual and easy assembly scheme, which we will now do.

Basic steps for assembling a flying toy:

  1. Take into your arsenal a regular sheet of paper, preferably rectangular.
  2. Fold the paper in half lengthwise to create a vertical line down the middle.
  3. Fold the top corners along the line. Bend the resulting corner to the center of the sheet.
  4. Perform the same actions with new angles.
  5. Turn the bottom small corner in the opposite direction so that it holds the other corners.
  6. Bend the resulting structure in half along a vertical line. Next, spread the wings of the airplane along the center line.

How to make a high flying airplane

An airplane that flies high and far will certainly cause a storm of emotions. The child will have fun watching it fly. All we need is a sheet of A4 paper.

  1. Prepare a sheet of paper from which the airplane will be folded. The paper can be plain white or colored, at your discretion.
  2. Place the paper on the table in a horizontal position and fold it exactly in half. This airplane is constructed using the origami technique.
  3. Next, unfold the folded sheet and place it vertically. Bend the upper corners to the straight line that was formed when folding the sheet.
  4. As a result, the upper part of the sheet will be triangular in shape.
  5. Now fold the ends of the paper that touch the main line in the opposite direction.
  6. Repeat the steps on the bent ends again.
  7. Next, align all the ends in a horizontal position, as it was originally, before any manipulations.
  8. Fold the top corners of the paper towards the main line so that there are two marked lines on each half.
  9. At the base of the triangle, fold the piece of paper in half.
  10. Press down on the paper until a horizontal line appears.
  11. Now you need to return the paper to its original horizontal position.
  12. The next step is to fold the paper along the first top line into a triangle shape.
  13. Fold the sheet again along the horizontal line that runs down the middle.
  14. Place the corner exactly along a vertical line.
  15. Next, bend the corner in the opposite direction along a horizontal line.
  16. Turn the paper over to the other side so that the corner faces up.
  17. Next you need to bend the upper parts to the central vertical line.
  18. When assembling the structure, the paper should be folded carefully.
  19. The parts must be bent on both sides.
  20. Then you should fold the origami in half.
  21. Next, bend the wings for the future airplane.
  22. At the end, make bends on the airplane wings on both sides and unfold the structure. Now she is ready to fly!

Scheme for creating a "Glider" airplane

"Glider" is a cool paper airplane that flies high and relatively far. Be sure to try to build this unusual toy with your child, which has a more complex creation scheme compared to those described above.

Follow these step-by-step instructions and you will definitely be able to make a “Glider”:

  1. Take out a sheet of paper and fold it in half.
  2. Next, unfold it and place it on the table with the intended line towards the top.
  3. Fold the corners of the sheet inward so that a mark appears inside the sheet. Thus, the resulting triangles will be even, which will enable the airplane to fly well.
  4. Make a sharp nose on the paper by folding the corners in the center.
  5. Position the sharp corner so that it extends a few millimeters beyond the edges of the paper.
  6. Fold the resulting layout in half, so that the back part is placed inside.
  7. The final moment is the deployment of the airplane's wings. They can be made to any width at your discretion.

Paper airplane called Swift

This design is of medium complexity, as it consists of a large number of additions. The first step is to practice it yourself several times before building it with your children.

Here is a list of actions that you need to complete to assemble the Swift model:

  • make a guide fold by bending two corners to the middle of the sheet;
  • we bend the corners first in one direction, then in the other, so that a bend in the form of the letter X appears on the sheet;
  • now lower the right corner of the sheet to the line coming from the left corner;
  • do the same with the left corner;
  • fold the structure in half to make an orientation line;
  • the next step is to fold the structure in half so that the top line is flush with the bottom;
  • bend the upper corners of the structure to a line that runs vertically;
  • rotate the corners to their original position;
  • take the top edge that faces down and fold it up along the line that was obtained from the previous step;
  • connect the upper corners on both sides to the first fold so that their edge is adjacent to the nose of the aircraft;
  • folded corners form the wings of the structure;
  • Next, you need to bend the wings again along the fold;
  • the next step is to put the wings on top of the nose;
  • lower the spout down to the level of the wings;
  • fold the structure in half so that the wings are on the outside.
  • lower the wings of the airplane perpendicular to the bottom edge of the plane;
  • paper airplane is ready to fly!

Unusual paper airplane with a propeller

To build this toy you need to arm yourself with the following tools:

  • A4 sheet of paper;
  • wallpaper knife;
  • a simple pencil;
  • a needle with a bead for fastening parts.

Using these tools and a sheet of paper, you can design an airplane with a propeller, you just need to follow the following instructions:

  • Fold the paper sheet twice diagonally;
  • Unfold the paper to its original position and fold horizontally to divide the surface in half;
  • Unfold the sheet again and bend the left corner to the right, marking a line. Fold the bottom right corner up;
  • Fold the left corner again, its edges should touch the triangle that resulted from the previous steps;
  • Bend the edge of the corner into the inside of the airplane;
  • Turn the right side towards the center;
  • Tuck the left part under the right part;
  • Roll the structure diagonally and make wings;
  • Make your own propeller. To do this, you will need colored paper measuring 6 cm/6 cm. Using a simple pencil, draw lines from opposite corners. Cut the paper along the lines, leaving a distance of about 8 mm from the center. Fold one corner from each rectangle and fasten it in the center with a needle.

To make the propeller stable, you can secure it with PVA glue or firmly press the bends.

  • Attach the part to the plane and the flying toy for your child is ready to use!

Paper airplane in the shape of a boomerang

The boomerang airplane will certainly interest your baby. It has one distinctive feature that makes it interesting. When the toy is launched into flight, it returns to its owner back like a boomerang.

Let's look at the main stages of creating this flying machine:

  • Take an A4 sheet of paper and place it on a flat surface with the narrow side perpendicular to you.
  • Make a diagonal line by folding the sheet in half. Fold the top corners on both sides towards the center line.
  • Fold the envelope down to make a horizontal line and straighten the folds.
  • Turn the structure over and bend the triangular end into the middle. Turn the wide part in the other direction.
  • Do the same on the second half of the future airplane.
  • After completing these manipulations, you will have a small pocket. Bend it so, lifting it up, so that its ends are located along the length of the sheet.
  • Next, you need to bend the corner into the pocket. Do the same on the other side.
  • Bend the side parts of the pocket upward. Straighten the structure, place the front part in the middle.
  • Next you will see protruding parts of the paper that need to be folded. Also remove the fin-shaped parts.
  • Straighten the structure again. Next, fold in half and work out all the folds well.
  • Finish the wings of the plane by bending them up. A slight bend should form on the wings.

The lighter the material from which the airplane is made, the further it will fly. However, with strong gusts of wind, this structure will simply be blown away. But for an airplane made of thicker paper, the wind is not a hindrance, but the flight range is inferior to a light one.

If both parts of the plane are completely identical, then the device will fly in a straight line without making bends. When folding a paper airplane, it is not recommended to use auxiliary elements such as tape, glue or staples. These parts make our airplane heavier and prevent it from flying perfectly.

Making a military airplane "Hawk"

Let's look at each stage of assembling this military aircraft:

  • Take a sheet of rectangular paper and place the shorter side towards you;
  • Fold it in half as usual. Make one of the two upper corners, bending them towards the center;
  • The result should be a drawing on paper in the form of a cross. Press the sides of the paper against the vertical line that divides the sheet in half. Lower the two upper corners down to the same level as the top. Leave 1 cm from this fold to the center line.
  • This created a shape in the form of horns that need to be placed together. Hide any pieces of paper that are in the way inside.
  • The corner that is located at the bottom is carefully turned in the opposite direction. It is necessary to bend to the point from which the horns come out.
  • The final step will be to fold the structure in half. It will be very interesting if you and your child paint a paper model with paints to make the airplane as close as possible to a military one.

There are many different designs for assembling military flying toys. The figure below shows some of them.

How to make a Bulldog airplane

This aircraft received this name due to the fact that the shape of its nose is similar to the muzzle of a bulldog. This paper toy is one of the easiest to assemble.

You can start creating this aircraft right away with your child, since there are no complex folds or elements in its design. If you follow the instructions, your child will enjoy and benefit from this activity. In the future, it will not be difficult to create more complex and advanced models.

What needs to be done? See below:

  • Make the first fold - fold it in half diagonally.
  • Next comes a step that is present in almost every collection scheme. The top corners should be lowered down.
  • Place the leaf on the other side and fold the corners again as in the second point.
  • Take the top corner that you have and bend it so that the corners meet in one place.
  • At the end, as usual, fold the structure into two halves to form a snub nose.
  • Next, we straighten the wings of the plane, doing it as evenly as possible.

It is advisable to send the Bulldog into flight with smooth, not sharp pushes. The flying paper structure will instantly fly through the air over long distances, causing delight and joy to your child.

Airplane Eaglet of medium difficulty level

The Eaglet airplane has a more complex assembly diagram than the Bulldog model. One of its components is a special triangle, which stabilizes the entire structure.

Instructions:

  • Complete the first two steps that are described in the instructions for the Bulldog airplane. In both cases, he draws the main line, from which we will dance further.
  • Fold the paper sheet into an envelope. Please ensure that the distance from the bent corner to the bottom edge of the structure is at least a centimeter. These two parts should not be on the same line.
  • Fold the corners that are located at the top towards the center. Next you will see a small triangle with folded corners, which will serve as a stabilizer.
  • We need to bend the triangle up so that it secures the other parts of the sheet.
  • Next, traditionally fold the structure in half, so that the triangle is on the outside.
  • Align the right and left wings of the airplane. That's it! The flying toy is ready to use. If you build the Eaglet according to all the rules, then it will be far away and confident.

The Strike Eagle is an F15 airplane model that has a beautiful appearance. Its creation is based on an ordinary sheet of paper, which is folded accordingly.

All bends should be done very carefully so as not to spoil the appearance of the airplane. This aircraft can be used as a children's toy by launching it into the air, or it can be placed in a sideboard as a souvenir.

This paper airplane will appeal to both adults and children.

Paper airplane Lightning

  • fold the paper in the same way as described in all the initial points;
  • bend the upper ends to the center;
  • Next, bend the paper so that you get the shape of an arrow;
  • It is necessary to make one more fold to create narrow wings.

To prevent the wings from spreading in different directions, an ordinary paper clip comes to the rescue. It is used to pierce the body. This allows the airplane to fly long distances. To change the direction of flight, you just need to slightly bend the wings upward.

Good day everyone! How are you feeling, girls and boys? In the last article we did it, and in this article we will make the plane of your dreams))). True, it will be made of paper, but it will be such that it will fly quickly and far and no one will be able to catch it.

And then you can organize a competition and let all the paper airplanes race, what do you think of this idea? Probably just great, because spring is coming, and then summer, when there will be much more fun and entertainment than now.

Everyone knows this toy, even kids, who also love it and willingly sit with great interest and fold A4 sheets to get a wonderful craft and at the same time a flying machine above the ground.

The simplest method is familiar to all of us from childhood; absolutely everyone, both mothers and fathers, remembers it. Take a look at this picture.

First of all, we’ll make an airplane that flies far, the main thing is that it flies straight and beautifully. Just what you need to make it fun and you can watch him))).

We will need:

  • A4 sheet - 1 pc.

Stages of work:

1. Take a sheet, our toy will be made from it. Decide on a color, you can take a traditional white sheet, or you can take, for example, green or blue.

2. Place the paper horizontally in front of you and fold it in half. We will do it using the origami technique.

3. Then open and turn vertically. Start bending towards the straight line you've marked.

4. This way you get a triangle at the top.

5. Now fold the resulting line back to the outer one. Do this on both sides.

6. Repeat the steps again.

7. This is what should happen.

8. Then open all folded parts.

9. Fold the paper on both sides where you have two marked lines towards the center strip.

10. At the intersections, fold the sheet of paper forward.

11. Press the line with your fingers.

12. Open and return the sheet to its original position.

13. Then bend along the first top line.

14. Fold to the center horizontal line.

15. Place the resulting corner exactly on the line.

16. Then turn the sheet over to the reverse side and fold it along a horizontal line.

17. Turn the sheet over again to the other side and make the triangle look up.

18. Fold the top parts of the center line, as you begin to do this, the product will begin to come together.

19. Therefore, you have to push the paper with your own hands very carefully.

20. These actions need to be done on both sides.

21. Fold it in half.

22. Fold the wings of the airplane.

23. Afterwards, make bends of 1-1.5 cm on the wings themselves.

24. Open the airplane and straighten your wings. This is such a handsome guy, and he’s ready to fly. Look, just don't fly too far))).

Paper airplane using origami technique in 5 minutes

For the smallest fidgets, there are, of course, simpler instructions, such souvenirs turn out just as good and they fly very well too, depending on how you launch, you may not even be able to catch up; they will fly wow 100 meters, you’ll be exhausted looking for them later).

The most important thing is that you need to make the two sides the same in a mirror image so that they turn out even and then everything will definitely work out.

On one of the forums I spotted a craft called Piranha, and does it look like it’s true? The author also chose red as the color. See how cleverly you can roll up such a miracle. No special skills are required. The most primitive option with a simple model.

It turned out to be a cool thing, my boys really liked it).

By the way, you can get a little creative and give dad a little surprise.

In general, make a craft with your child so that there is something to do with your beloved family, because such work brings you very close together.

Step-by-step instructions for a flying toy for beginners

The interesting thing is that almost any plane can fly a sufficient number of meters above the ground, it can be 10,000 or even more than 1,000,000, the most important condition is, depending on what height it will be launched from and whether there will be wind outside and how it will pick it up.

If you want your airplane to never fall over, then use this scheme. This toy will show you a uniform and very fast flight. You yourself will be very amazed.

If you love this type of air transport with large wings, then fold this type of airplane.

You can build it with a blunt nose, there will be no collisions.

Well, if you don’t understand diagrams and instructions at all, then watch this step-by-step video from the YouTube channel:

How to make a paper airplane that will fly very far, up to 10,000 meters?

In fact, there are quite a large number of different paper models of this air transport. The leaders at the moment are Hawk, Eagle Owl, Falcon and Albatross.

And that’s not all, I propose to build a powerful and beautiful airplane called Thunderstorm.

Stages of work:

1. Be sure to bend the sheet of paper symmetrically, straighten the resulting line very well with your hands, then turn it back.

2. Make a triangle at the top, as we did in the first example.

3. On both sides, bend the leaf again towards the center, you will get a sharp triangle.

4. Then bend the sheet where the bend point has formed.

6. Next, fold the triangle forward again.

7. Turn the resulting masterpiece over and bend it again.

8. Bend the plane in half. Bend the upper part of the wings slightly, as shown in the photo.

9. And then bend it so that you get real ones, like an airplane.

10. Voila, and this is what happened, it looks cool and cool, but it flies, well, it’s definitely fast and far).

DIY paper airplane model for children with folding patterns

Do you want to make a bunch of wonderful and beautiful airplanes with sharp or blunt noses together with your kids?

First of all, learn how to make these yourself, and then teach this easy task to your little helpers. Start with the simplest model.

If you don't understand this diagram, move on to the next one and choose.

Making a planner from A4 sheet is easy and simple

If you want another look that can be done in a matter of minutes, and you don’t need to fold and bend much, a completely different technique is used. It turns out cool and original. In general, a cool option for a child who will happily launch it in the air.

We will need:

  • sheet of paper

Cooking method:

1. Fold the A4 sheet in half and draw a line with your hands. Take scissors or a utility knife and cut along it.

2. You will get two small leaves, fold one sheet in half again and draw a blank with a pencil, which you can request from me completely free of charge, and then print it on your printer.

3. Cut according to the template and don't forget to make gaps on the wings and tail as shown in the picture I sent you.

5. Take your time, iron the lines carefully and evenly.

6. There is no need to rush, otherwise it will turn out to be a blunder.

7. Place a piece of plasticine into the nose of the air transport and close it.

8. Where you made the cuts on the tail, bend and straighten the paper.

9. Do the same with the wings.

10. To give it the flying ability, you need to smooth out the wings using a pencil and curl them a little.

11. It should look something like this. To check the elevator, lower the plane vertically, it should take off like the wind, but do not overdo it.

If your airplane tilts to one side, then adjust it, because you can lower or raise the adjusters.

Volumetric cardboard craft

We will need:

  • cardboard - 2 sheets
  • PVA glue
  • ruler
  • pencil
  • scissors
  • matchbox

Stages of work:

1. Mark two strips on the cardboard with a pencil; their width should be equal to a matchbox.

2. Then use scissors to cut them out. Use these strips to make airplane wings. On another sheet, mark two 1.5 cm wide strips and also cut them along the length of the cardboard.

Move one such thin strip, and cut the second into two parts of 8 cm, remove the rest, it will not be needed. Here's what happens:

3. Now start assembling. Take a matchbox, bend a long thin strip in half and attach it, glue it to the box.

4. Using two identical strips that are wide, like boxes, make wings.

The corners can be rounded; cut them with scissors.

5. Make a tail from one short narrow strip and also round it, glue it inside. And glue the second one on top, make a triangle out of it.

6. Then you can cut out the propeller and glue it.

7. The craft is ready, enjoy your work!

Video on how to roll a Fighter without glue

Of course, such a craft will be difficult to do if you are doing it for the first time, so I suggest starting by watching a video that will definitely teach you how to create such a beauty.

Well, how did it work out for you? Is it really easy and simple and without glue, and not as difficult as it seems at first glance?

And if you have problems with the Internet, then you can always use the scheme, especially if you suddenly forget something, this is also an option.

P.S. By the way, craftsmen even make such airplanes from one match, see for yourself:

Well, that's all for me. I wish you creative success and good luck! Create for your health, play and have fun! All the best and joyful. Bye everyone!

In the distant, computer-free childhood of everyone “born in the USSR” and not only others, there were “do-it-yourself” lessons. All today's adults once practiced origami: they made boats from paper and newspaper that were sent sailing along spring streams, frogs that jumped from desk to desk during recess, and, of course, airplanes. The airplanes were made not only to take part in competitions for the longest flight, but also to simply communicate during a lesson (a kind of analogue of modern SMS communication).

Now that all Soviet children have acquired their own offspring, it’s time to remember how to properly construct such things from paper in order to teach this to the modern generation, which is glued to computers. It is especially difficult to make a paper airplane that flies well. This requires a certain skill.

Three simple ways to make a “long-flying” airplane

There is a lot of information on how to make a paper airplane with your own hands. The main thing is to find a way that will help build the most “long-flying” aircraft.

The first way to build a paper airplane that flies for a long time is quite simple. Need to:

  • first - take an A4 sheet;
  • second, bend it vertically;
  • third - fold the ends towards the center;
  • fourth - fold the sides towards the center;
  • fifth - fold the airplane;
  • sixth - straighten your wings (the diagram is shown below).

The second method of making a paper airplane is also quite simple; with this design, it also stays in the air for a long time. The length of its flight will please both you and your child. Need to:

  • second, bend it in half (vertically);
  • third - straighten;
  • fourth - fold the corners towards the center;
  • fifth - fold the corners to the center again;
  • sixth - straighten.

You can also make a paper airplane using the classic method. Manufacturing stages:

  • first, take a landscape or A4 sheet;
  • second, bend it in half;
  • third - straighten;
  • fourth - bend the upper corners to the center;
  • fifth - fold the piece of paper with the corners bent into an envelope;
  • sixth - fold the upper corners towards the center;
  • seventh - also bend the tip of the resulting tongue towards the center, securing the corners with it (see diagram);
  • eighth - fold in half;
  • ninth - carefully straighten your wings.

Important! Don't try to make a model out of thick paper. Most likely, he will not stay in the air for long. It is better to choose thin paper.

How to make a long-flying fighter plane with good aerodynamics out of paper, we will consider below. There are two ways.

Naturally, making fighter planes using origami techniques is much more difficult. In this case, everything must be done carefully and step by step:

  1. Take a landscape sheet and fold it horizontally (!);
  2. Bend the corners to the fold line (the corners are small, the main thing is to make sure that everything is even);
  3. Bend again to form a triangle;
  4. Bend at an acute angle downwards;
  5. Turn the workpiece with the wide end;
  6. Fold the corners toward the center again;
  7. Then bend the same corners, but not inward, but outward (see diagram);
  8. Carefully pull out the long corner from the back side;
  9. Fold the workpiece in half;
  10. Bend the wings along the resulting line.

This method of making a fighter requires patience and attention. It may not work out the first time, but after a few training sessions a complete miracle of aviation will be in your hands.

Important! You can use a few tips from professionals that will help improve any model and make it fly longer.

For example:

  • if the plane takes off sharply and then falls, give it more maneuverability by thickening the nose; you can either bend the tip of your nose inward, or attach a small paper clip to it;
  • if the plane does not fly straight, but constantly “takes” to the side, slightly bend the wing of the side in which it “takes”, creating a kind of rudder.

It’s interesting that using the origami technique you can make not only a fighter plane, but also a stealth plane (Stealth), a bomb carrier plane, a SU-35 bomber, and a Concorde plane. It is clear that it is also possible to make fighters of different types, taking as a basis real models that exist today.

Other ways to make paper airplanes

Naturally, there are other techniques for making paper airplanes. You can make an airplane out of paper using the Spanish origami technique or the Norwegian technique. In general, these techniques are similar (they are especially clear to those who really understand paper airplanes). The main thing about them is the use of lightweight material, absolute symmetry, well-curved wings and a well-thought-out tail design. It is the tail that is responsible for the aerodynamic qualities during flight.

Also in origami there are techniques that allow you to assemble airplanes of such designs as “delta”, “gomez”, “hawkey”, “needle”, “little nikki”. These techniques make it possible to create an airplane that flies far not only in words, but also in deeds. True, they require a certain skill and perseverance, but the end result is worth it. There are also techniques called "Duck". It is easier to implement.

Paper airplane "Duck"

To make a “Duck” you need:

  • first, take a landscape sheet;
  • second, fold it;
  • third - bend the ends;
  • fourth, turn it over and bend the corners again to form a rhombus on top;
  • fifth - bend the upper part of the diamond forward;
  • sixth - fold it like an accordion;
  • seventh - bend its lower top upward;
  • eighth - fold in half;
  • ninth - carefully make the wings.

This model flies well and for a long time. The nose part does not pull down and does not fall to the side.

Interesting. There is even a technique for creating paper airplanes in the world, which is prohibited by the Guinness Book of Records. The fact is that models made using this technique fly for a very long time.

What are the benefits of practicing origami?

It is clear that many parents often have questions about the usefulness of origami classes. Is it really necessary to spend time on this, both yours and your child’s? Experts have long found out that origami classes are really useful. The child develops dexterity, perseverance, attentiveness, and concentration. Spatial thinking is formed, which will be so useful to him in geometry and physics lessons, fantasy develops, which will also have a beneficial effect on his studies. After all, no one is stopping a child who has already mastered several methods of making airplanes from coming up with some kind of his own model, slightly improving and modifying the old method.

Important! It would not be amiss to inform him that some paper models are capable of not only staying in the air for a long time, but also performing aerobatics. This will be an additional incentive, will interest the child and, perhaps, take him away from the computer for a long time.

Believe me, an airplane made by the hands of your beloved child is a miracle in itself, especially for parents. How much pride your child will feel if this plane, which he built himself, will fly for a long time.

Video

The answer to the question of how to make the best paper airplane can be found in this video.

As a child, everyone was fond of throwing paper airplanes to each other. Many adults remember this type of entertainment only when children appear, when the basic skills for assembling complex origami crafts are already lost. To please and temporarily occupy your child, learn how to make a paper airplane using a simple pattern, teach the craft to fly, and what is needed to fold the model.

How to make paper airplanes

The art of aerogami has been around for over 50 years. During this time, folk craftsmen were able to come up with and skillfully implement hundreds of different models of paper airplanes. Some of them fly for a short time and only along one trajectory, but there are also those that are capable of covering long distances. Modern designs of a boomerang or an unusual glider have appeared.

How to glue a paper airplane

A thick sheet of A4 paper, a ruler, glue, scissors and perhaps felt-tip pens - that's all you need to glue a paper plane with your own hands. It will be good if you find a ready-made drawing on the Internet in advance and simply print the drawing. If there is a dotted line in the photo, this is the fold location. The arrows in the sketch indicate the rotation of the paper in a certain direction, and the straight lines indicate the location of the cut.

Origami airplanes

It will be easier for beginners to assemble a glider model from ordinary materials: A4 sheets, thin paper, notebook sheets or newspaper clippings. The main requirement for the material is that it should be shaped like a square or rectangle. To make an origami airplane, you just need to follow clear instructions. There is one more little trick: to make the parts hold their shape better, aerogami professionals recommend running a ruler along the fold.

How to make a paper airplane - step-by-step instructions

To ensure that the assembled model holds its shape well and does not fall apart when touched, you need to take on board a few tips:

  • It is optimal to use small sheets with a density of 100 g/m².
  • During work, you must strictly follow the instructions, iron the bends well and fold the material according to the pattern.
  • To launch a paper airplane, it is important that all parts are symmetrical. Especially for balance, you need to pay attention to the nose and tail.

Simple airplane

When teaching aerogamy to children, it is better to start with mastering simple models. The method for making a classic layout is as follows:

  1. Prepare a landscape sheet. Turn it towards you with the short side.
  2. Fold the sheet in half and mark the middle of the sheet. There is no need to smooth out the fold.
  3. Unfold the paper and fold the edges so that the corners touch the marked center line.
  4. Grab the top of the sheet so that the fold is where the two folded corners meet.
  5. Fold the top left corner in the same way. Repeat the same action with the upper right corner.
  6. A triangle should have formed, bend it upward.
  7. Fold the model in half. Form the wings.

Airplane

This model is almost no different in assembly method from the previous version, the only difference being the blunt nose. To assemble the airplane, follow these instructions:

  1. With a piece of construction paper, do the first 4 steps from the instructions above.
  2. Bend the upper left and right corners so that a straight line 0.8-1.5 cm long remains in the center.
  3. Secure the part using the lower triangle.
  4. Turn the model out along the center fold.
  5. Straighten all the parts, set the desired wing angle.

Paraglider

Thanks to its wide wings, this model can soar beautifully in the air. To make an airplane from a sheet of paper, you need to follow the tips:

  1. Bend and unfold the rectangular sheet lengthwise as always.
  2. Measure about ¼ of the way from the top and fold toward the center.
  3. Bend both corners inward so that their noses do not extend beyond the intended line.
  4. Turn the model over and fold the folded half over itself.
  5. Fold and fold the small corners in the center.
  6. Fold the model along the central fold, unfold the nose and form the wings.

small plane

The dimensions of this model are small, so be prepared to do some painstaking work. How to make a paper airplane:

  1. Take any sheet of paper measuring 20*20 cm.
  2. Fold in half, press the fold.
  3. Fold in half again to form a square. Mark the center.
  4. Fold one half of the piece of paper onto ¼ of the sheet and make a mark.
  5. Bend the sheet inward from the ¼ mark to the top edge to form a triangle. Press down the edge.
  6. Turn the edge out so that a small triangle forms on top.
  7. Turn the sheet over and bend the other side of the triangle inward.
  8. Bend the wide end towards the pocket, not reaching the edge a few millimeters.
  9. Do the same with the other side.
  10. Place the fingers of one hand under the fuselage and hold the nose of the plane with the other. Lift the paper slightly with your hands.
  11. Fold the corner into the pocket. Repeat the previous two steps on the other side of the sheet.
  12. Fold the side of the large pocket up. Do the same on the other side.
  13. Open the model, bend its front edge inward.
  14. Turn the workpiece over and press the front part, using the corners as a guide.
  15. Fold the plane in half, go along the folds.
  16. Fold one side down along a line that is parallel to the center fold.
  17. Do the same on the other side.
  18. Fold the edge of the wing up for better aerodynamics. Straighten the model with your hands.

Big plane

This model can be used to decorate a child's room. To fold the liner, prepare cardboard, glue, scissors, a matchbox and follow the instructions:

  1. Cut a long strip of cardboard, 2cm wide. Fold it in half.
  2. Using glue, fix the edges in the center of the matchbox at the top and bottom.
  3. Cut two strips of cardboard 4 cm wide. Round the edges.
  4. Glue it to the matchbox on the sides.
  5. Cut a thin strip of cardboard and fold it in half.
  6. Fold the edges of the strip up, making a 1 cm indent from the edge.
  7. Glue the blank to the tail.

Square plane

Many people are used to seeing flying machines with a pointed nose, but not all models can look like that. Try folding a paper airplane differently:

  1. Turn the sheet of paper with the wide side facing you. Fold in half.
  2. Turn the sheet over to the other side, with the narrow side facing you. Fold in half.
  3. Unfold the sheet to the other side. Fold the edge toward the center of the fold.
  4. Fold the corners on both sides.
  5. Turn the sheet over so the folded side is facing you. Fold the edge up to the center.
  6. Fold the plane along the center perpendicular line.
  7. Fold the folded edge over. Open the pocket, holding the center with your fingers.
  8. Unfold your pocket. Fold the wings to the triangle marked in the center.

Volumetric airplane

After you have mastered simple patterns, you need to learn to understand more complex patterns. Below are step-by-step instructions on how to assemble a three-dimensional flying plane:

  1. Bend the sheet lengthwise and unfold it.
  2. Fold the paper in half. From the center, fold the edges down, and then unfold half.
  3. Unfold the sides, tuck each flap inward.
  4. Bend some of the wings back.
  5. Bend the wings from the bottom a short distance.
  6. Press the fold lines with your fingers. Bend the resulting lines parallel to the folds of the wings.

Beautiful plane

You can decorate a child's room with paper crafts by collecting a whole collection of different models. To make flying machines pleasing to the eye, they can be made from colored paper or cardboard and decorated with appliques - numbers, inscriptions or stars. Three-dimensional models of passenger airliners look good on a shelf in a nursery. You will have to spend a little more time making them.

How to make a passenger plane out of paper

To create this model, you must download and print the Concorde airliner assembly diagram in advance. Then, to fold the passenger plane, follow the instructions:

  1. Make folds in the center and top corners.
  2. Fold the side parts towards the middle, then bend their edges back along the dotted line.
  3. Fold the shape right side up along the center line.
  4. Fold the corner along line 5, smooth it out, and then return the figure to its original position.
  5. Repeat the same on the other side.
  6. Tuck the edge inside the body along the dotted line, then pull its end back and bend it along line 6.
  7. Bend both wings up and secure the tail with tape.

How to make a cool paper airplane

There are also models of devices that are capable of softly gliding for long periods of time or making long-distance flights. They are slightly different in design from their simple counterparts. If you want your airplane to fly further, choose a model that has narrow wings and a long tail. Balanced airplanes with a large wingspan are capable of long flights.

How to make a paper airplane that flies

If you are bored with learning the basics of aircraft construction, try making a cool model with good aerodynamics:

  1. Draw a middle line and fold the corners along the edges.
  2. Fold the product crosswise exactly in the center and turn it over.
  3. Fold the corners at a slight angle, just short of the fold.
  4. Fold the resulting corner, straighten the bent part on the other side of the plane.
  5. Fold the model along the base, forming wings at equal distances.
  6. Make small folds of the wings along the edges.

How to make a paper airplane that flies far

This design provides for the formation of additional wings in the nose of the device, which will ensure flight range. To make a paper airplane, follow the instructions:

  1. Mark the center line, fold the edges to it at an angle of 90 degrees.
  2. Turn the workpiece over and fold the corners toward the center again to form a sharp edge in the center.
  3. Lift the triangle from the back and fold the resulting square in half.
  4. Mark the fold with a pencil and tuck the rectangle into the middle of the pocket.
  5. Bend the wings at a 90 degree angle.

How to make a military plane out of paper

Boys who are interested in war games, shooting games and armored vehicles will love the idea of creating a collection of military aircraft at home. There are a lot of models of such aircraft. You can fold a Fighter, Bomber, IL-2, Messerschmitt or other equipment. To make such toys look colorful and be as similar to the original as possible, it is recommended to make them from colored paper.

Fighter

Options for making such paper toys can be found on the Internet, or you can make a fighter out of paper according to this scheme:

  1. Take a rectangular sheet. Fold in half along the wide part.
  2. Bend two corners towards you.
  3. Bend the corners diagonally again, starting the movement of the hand from the sharp nose.
  4. Fold the product crosswise so that the sharp part is in the center of the opposite side.
  5. Turn the paper over and fold the top edges down.
  6. Turn the resulting corner towards yourself.
  7. Bend the figure in half. Shape the wings and flaps of the airplane.

Bomb carrier

This beautiful model is a little more difficult to create, but the result is worth the time spent. To make everything work, follow these tips:

  1. Fold the top of the sheet into a double triangle.
  2. By analogy, bend the left corner, aligning the top of the sheet with the right side.
  3. Make a fold of paper that will pass through the intersection point of all the resulting lines.
  4. Fold the side triangles inward along it.
  5. Mark a center line at the bottom of the paper.
  6. Draw a line that is parallel to the base of the triangle.
  7. Turn the paper over to the other side.
  8. Fold the corner towards you.
  9. Turn the layout over again and fold two corners up, first folding the top in half.
  10. Turn the figure over and bend the corner.
  11. Fold the right and left edge that is inside the layout.
  12. Bend the corner away from you, fold the plane along the central fold.
  13. Bring the edges inward, fold the shape in half, and then unfold it towards you.

Long-haul aircraft

This model can cover any distance. It has good aerodynamics, is well balanced and weighs little. A long-distance plane is made like this:

  1. Make marks in the center of the sheet and bend the upper corners.
  2. Fold the sheet in half, forming a roof with sharp corners.
  3. The edges of the future wings are folded inward to sharpen the nose even more.
  4. The layout is turned right side down, then the wrong side is folded vertically. without touching the bottom corners.
  5. Bend the wing so that it covers the entire length of the workpiece.
  6. Set the wings to the desired angle of inclination.
